Business Domain Model Template

The purpose of a Domain Model Template is to describe the business and the intentions

of the business. It describes the various entities, their attributes, roles, relationships,

and their constraints. This template serves as a clear depiction of the conceptual fabric

of the problem domain, and therefore is invaluable to ensure all stakeholders agree to

the scope and meaning of the concepts in the problem domain. The form contains

standard terms, however, additional language may be added making it fully

customizable to ensure the needs of the person or entity using the template are met.

This template should be used by small businesses or other entities that want more

information about how to properly select a business domain.
