This is a document that terminates a previously executed cohabitation agreement
between a married couple. The cohabitation agreement this document terminates could
be attached under “Schedule A” of this document. This document can be customized to
provide for any specific language that may be necessary. In addition, this document
provides an effective date of the termination. This document can be used by couples
that want to terminate a separate cohabitation agreement.
TERMINATION OF COHABITATION
THIS TERMINATION OF COHABITATION AGREEMENT made effective this

WHEREAS, Party 1 and Party 2 entered into a Cohabitation Agreement dated the _____
day of _________________, 201_______that set out certain property rights and financial
arrangements in the event the parties' relationship were to terminate, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Schedule “A”;
AND WHEREAS, Party 1 and Party 2 were married on the ____ day of _____________,
201______;
AND WHEREAS, Party 1 and Party 2 desire to terminate the Cohabitation Agreement
and all of their respective rights contained in the Cohabitation Agreement;
NOW THEREOFRE in consideration of the mutual promises of the parties, the parties agree
as follows:
1. The Cohabitation Agreement made between the parties dated the ____ day of
_____________, 201______, is hereby terminated as of the date _____________,
201___ {Instruction: this date will be the same as the date that has been entered
into the space at the very top of this document, the "Effective Date."}, and the
parties shall cease to be bound by the terms and conditions contained therein as of
this date.
