THIS DEED OF LEASE â€œthe Agreementâ€ is made at _____________ and executed on this

hereinafter referred to as the â€œLessorâ€, which expression unless repugnant to the context or
meaning thereof shall mean and include his/her heirs, legal representatives, administrators,
executors and assigns of the ONE PART.
Sh./Smt. ____________________, aged about _______ years, Son/Wife of
Sh._______________________, Residing at _______________________________, hereinafter
referred to as the â€œLesseeâ€ which expression unless repugnant to the context or meaning thereof
shall mean and include his/her heirs, legal representatives, administrators, executors and assigns
of the OTHER PART.
WHEREAS the Lessor is the absolute legal owner of the residential property bearing Flat/House
No. ________, situated at _______________________________________ (hereinafter referred
to as the â€œPremisesâ€).
AND WHEREAS the Lessor has the legal rights to rent and let out the said Premises or any
portion thereof on such terms and conditions as he/she may think fit;
AND WHEREAS the Lessor has agreed to Lease the Premises to the Lessee and the Lessee has
agreed to take on Lease the Premises from Lessor for a period of _______ years, subject to the
terms and conditions as mutually agreed and laid down in this Agreement.
AND WHEREAS, the Lessor and Lessee (hereinafter collectively referred to as the â€œPartiesâ€)
are executing this Agreement to reduce the terms and conditions agreed in respect of the

NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH and it is hereby agreed by and between the Parties hereto as

The Lessor hereby has agreed to lease and the Lessee has agreed to take on lease for residential
purposes the Premises comprising of ____ bedrooms, drawing-cum-dining, kitchen, ___
bathroom, ___ toilet, ____ balcony and ______ garage, together with the appurtenant land/space,
the rights to make use of entrances, passages, stair-cases, landings and other easements
