A Bill of Sale for a home is a written acknowledgment of the transfer of ownership of a

home between two parties, whereby one party is selling the home and the other party is

purchasing it. This document in its draft form contains numerous standard clauses

commonly used in these types of agreement, as well as optional language to allow for

customization to ensure the specific terms of the parties' agreement are addressed.

This Bill of Sale form ensures that there is a complete and accurate record of the

transfer of the home from the Seller to the Buyer.

BILL OF SALE

This Bill of Sale is made on this ________ day of _________, 201__ by and between

_____________________ (“Seller”) and _______________________ (“Buyer”).



WHEREAS Seller and Buyer have entered into an Agreement of Purchase and Sale [PROVIDE

SPECIFICS OF THE SALES AGREEMENT, INCLUDING ITS DATE] (“Purchase

Agreement”) wherein Seller agreed to sell, assign, and transfer to Buyer and Buyer agreed to

purchase from Seller the house or home residence owned by Seller, as described in Schedule “A”

hereto (the “Property”), Seller and Buyer agree on the following:



Seller and Buyer acknowledge that for good and valuable consideration and the sum of

_________________ dollars ($____) paid by Buyer to Seller pursuant to the Purchase

Agreement as consideration for the transfer of the Property, the receipt and sufficiency of which

is hereby acknowledged by Seller, Seller hereby grants, bargains, sells, assigns, transfers,

conveys, and sets over unto Buyer, its successors, and assigns, the Property and all items listed in

Schedule “A.” {INSTRUCTION: ALTHOUGH NOT REQUIRED, IT IS ENCOURAGED

THAT THE ORIGINAL SALES AGREEMENT BE ATTACHED, AS PART OF

SCHEDULE “A.”}



Seller covenants, promises, and agrees with Buyer that the hereby sold, assigned, and transferred

Property is owned by Seller as beneficial owner thereof with a good and marketable title thereto,

free and clear of all mortgages, liens, charges, pledges, security interests, encumbrances, or other

claims whatsoever.



WHEREAS Seller covenants and agrees with the Buyer, its successors and assigns, that it will,

from time-to-time and at all times hereafter, upon every reasonable request of the Buyer, its

successors and assigns, make, do and execute or cause and procure to be made, done and

executed all such further acts, deeds or assurances as may be reasonably required by the Buyer,

its successors and assigns, for more effectively and completely vesting in the Buyer, its

successors and assigns, the goods and chattels hereby sold, assigned and transferred in

accordance with the terms hereof.



This Bill of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of

______________________ and the laws of the United States applicable therein. If there is a

dispute between the parties regarding this Bill of Sale, the parties agree to submit to the

jurisdiction of the County of ____________________.



IN WITNESS WHEREOF this Bill of Sale is executed by Seller and Buyer as of the day and

year first above-mentioned.
