before entering into a rent to own agreement. This document also provides a template
rent to own application and a template rent to own contract. In a rent to own agreement
the tenant pays a monthly rent but a portion of the rent goes toward the purchase of the
property; this may also be called an option to buy contract. This document is useful to
either a prospective tenant/ buyer or to a landlord, and should be consulted before
entering into a rent to own agreement.
