An Affidavit of Mailing is a document that attests under oath that the person who is signing the affidavit verifies that a mailing has been made of a particular document, at a particular date and time. Affidavits are almost always required for important legal or court documents. This may be an important document for many business dealings and court proceedings as failure to use this document in conjunction with your mailing can yield your document, or the fact that you sent it, null in the eyes of the law.
